What To Expect in a Cooking Class

In most cooking classes, you’ll get hands-on experience with different kitchen techniques and recipes. Depending on the type of class you take, tasks may include chopping vegetables or making dough from scratch.

Chefs or teachers may give demonstrations and offer advice as well as answer any questions you have. For some classes, such as baking or cake decorating workshops, you’ll work directly with the chef or instructor who will guide you through the steps of creating a finished product.
